--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Do you work with clients from all countries?

A: Thanks to the Internet we have an opportunity to work with bands from all over the world. If you can use PayPal and speak English – then you are free to cooperate with us.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept payments via credit/debit card (with some exceptions), PayPal, Revolut. We also accept bank transfers within the EU.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What are your payment terms?

A: We work on terms 50% upfront, 50% on completion. The downpayment is non-refundable, however, the second payment is only sent after the project is approved at the final stage. If you don't like the end result - you don't have to pay the second half of the money.  For pre-made designs, we require full payment in advance.

LOGO DESIGN

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What format does the logo come in?

A: The final file comes in vector format (.EPS), which allows enlarging to any size without loss of quality. We will also provide a PNG file on a transparent background.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What if I don’t like the draft you made, may I ask to make another?

A: Yes, of course. Up to 3 different drafts are included within the standard package. Each draft after the standard three would cost 1/3 of the price of the standard package. However, 98% of our customers are satisfied with one of the first drafts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How many alterations may I ask for?

A: We allow up to 3 rounds of small alterations once one of the drafts is approved as final. By small alterations, we mean something like changing a letter or two, removing or adding some details, etc.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can I ask to finalize more than one draft?

A: That's possible, but since we have to do a lot of extra work to finalize more than one draft in vector, we charge an extra fee for that. Usually, it's 1/3 of the standard package price.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can I order a color logo?

A: We prefer to make monochrome logos (1 color). Such logos are more versatile for use on any graphic materials and you will never have problems with promoters or other graphic artists that will work with your logo. However, you still can order a color logo. In this case, we charge an additional 40% of the standard logo package price. Just email us if you want to see the examples of our color logos.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What is an "emblem" and how does it differ from a logo?

A: An emblem is a simplified logo, which usually consists of an abbreviation of the band name or a graphic symbol. They are more simple and memorable than full-name typeface logos and can serve for various purposes. For example, you can use it for printing on T-shirts, caps, stickers, and other merchandise. It can also be used for branding purposes, for example on banners, stage scrims, and bass drum stickers.

COVER ART

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: I have a concept for album art, how can I find out a price?

A: The price depends on the style/technique you prefer and the complexity of the concept. Feel free to send a brief description of your idea via the contact form on our website along with some examples of styles you like, and we will get back to you with a quote. If you do not know which style is more suitable for your concept, send us a message and we will gladly help you with that.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What format and resolution does the final file with the cover art come in?

A: The final file with your album art will be available in JPG format in high resolution (in most cases, 3000x3000 pixels). We can also send you an extra file for printing, for example, in PDF, TIFF, or other formats.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can I get a PSD project file with separate layers of the album art?

A: We do not provide project files in most cases (unless agreed in advance). As an exception, we can provide you with a PSD file where the album art and logo/title are made in separate layers, so you can change their position.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What technique do you use to create album art?

A: There are a few different techniques that we use. We create photorealistic artwork in matte painting using stock photos with further editing. This is what we call "photorealistic art". We also do hand-drawn artwork in digital painting. Some projects we implement in ink-on-paper technique, which means that our artist draws everything by ink on paper and then traces it into digital graphics. We also work in 3D graphics in some specific cases. Sometimes we even mix two techniques, like matte painting + digital painting, or 3D graphics + matte painting.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can I request alterations during the working process on cover art?

A: Shortly speaking - yes. We always start with a rough draft first. In the case of hand-drawn artwork, it's a rough sketch. In the case of photorealistic art, it's a low-res draft. At this stage, you can request any changes. We can even completely rework the sketch/draft if necessary. We can do that up to 3 times without any extra fee. Once the draft is approved, we move forward with more work on details. We will send you intermediate versions in the process to get your feedback. Even at later stages, we can do smaller tweaks to the art.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: I want to use my album art for printing on backdrops/stage scrims. Can you provide me with the right format?

A: We usually create cover art in raster format, not vector.  Raster format gives us more freedom, but the end result always has a limited resolution, which is usuallny not enough to print in such a large size. If you plan to use your album art for printing in a large size, you should discuss this with us in advance. For example, we can design vector artwork that could be printed at any size without loss of quality. We can send you some examples of such artwork on request. Or we can draw something bigger than the standard cover art size in raster format.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: I want to order a layout design for a physical release (Digipack, Jewel case). Is this possible?

A: Yes! We can design a layout for any type of packaging but only based on album artwork done by us. We need a template from your printing company so that we can prepare the files according to their technical requirements. The cheapest option is to utilize album artwork to design all the other pages. We usually use some elements of the art or zoomed-in scenes. If you want something more complicated - we are ready to design additional graphics. The price is to be clarified with us individually.

SHIRT DESIGN

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What kind of T-shirt designs do you make?

A: We make cartoony-ish designs in digital painting, as well as classic as more realistic ink-on-paper artwork that we trace into vector graphics with the addition of color.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: In what format do you create arts for T-shirts?

A: We make illustrations for shirts in vector format with a limited number of colors used (up to 6), so they can be printed by silkscreen printing in any size without loss of quality.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Are your shirt designs as detailed and realistic as your cover art?

A: It's important to understand that vector and raster format are two totally different things. Cover art doesn't have to be bigger than 3000x3000px, so we can do it in raster graphics and have more freedom. Raster format allows us to make more detailed stuff and work with photo assets. Vector format has much more limitations, but it allows printing at any size without loss of quality. Since we also have to use a limited number of colors to meet the requirements for silkscreen printing, we cannot make the design as detailed as our cover art. However, we developed a few cool styles for shirt designs that meet all printing requirements. The best way to see the difference between our cover art and shirts designs is to check out our portfolio.

ANIMATION AND MOTION DESIGN

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Do you have a fixed rate for animated music videos?

A: Unfortunately, it's impossible to have a fixed rate for animation or motion design services since it depends very much on many factors. If you have a specific idea, feel free to send a brief description to us along with some examples of music videos you like. We will calculate a couple of different options and send you a quote. If you don't have a specific idea and want to give us creative freedom, then just name your budget and we will let you know if we can work with it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: I want to make a simple lyric video based on our cover artwork. Is this something you can help me with?

A: Sure! Besides fancy-looking high-tier animated videos, we also do low-budget videos based on cover art provided by the band. If it's album art made by us - it's even better! If you need something simple and cannot afford a big budget, we have options to offer. Just drop us a message. We also do audio visualizers AKA YouTube stream videos. This is the cheapest option to release a song on YouTube.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: How long does it take to make a video?

A: An average high-tier animated music video takes us about 6 weeks. Simple lyric videos are usually done in 2-3 weeks. For audio visualizers AKA YouTube stream videos the standard turnaround time is 2-3 business days.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Do you send any updates during the working process on an animated music video in order to keep your clients informed?

A: About a week after we start working on an animated music video, we send a few screenshots to the client, so that they can see the style of the video. Approximately in the middle of the project, we make a small teaser, 15-20 seconds long. Unfortunately, we cannot send more updates, since work on such videos is quite a complicated and time-consuming process. Any changes in the process are possible but paid separately.
